Firm Description

Background

Computer Consulting Group (CCG) exists to provide clients a single resource capable of satisfying any degree of need for computer related services.  The group’s mission is to help clients get the maximum benefit from their computer technology investment.  CCG was formed in January 1996 when Auman Consulting joined forces with Utility Technology Engineers - Consultants (UTEC).  UTEC provides electrical engineering, design, and analysis services to clients throughout the southeastern United States.  CCG and UTEC maintain joint offices in Asheboro, NC and Spartanburg, SC.

Resources

CCG and UTEC currently maintain a staff of twenty-three, which includes one computer consultant and eight registered professional engineers.  The physical resources of CCG include: 

             Laptop, desktop, and servers capable of running many of today’s popular Microsoft operating systems.

             A local area network flexible enough to support all major topologies and protocols, plus alternative access methods including

             dialup networking, Broadband Internet access, and Wireless Technology. State of the art desktop and network management

             software and tools, including Microsoft Systems Management Server.

 

          A wide array of software products currently used in the business environment, including tools like Microsoft Exchange,

              Outlook, and relational database products from Oracle and Microsoft.
